Newstead Abbey and Gardens
23 March 2015 by hannah james
Here’s a showing showing one of our Leo 23GT’s used recently at Newstead Abbey and Gardens in Nottinghamshire. The job was inspection of the wall remains attached to the abbey. English Heritage are currently scheduling works here to preserve the building’s wall, considering strength and appearance to the many visitors who visit the abbey and estate.
The Leo 23GT was the ideal machine used for this allowing two men to work safely from the basket, having tracked through gateways and woodland to the rear of the abbey. Importantly, the Leo 23GT was light enough to spread the weight evenly across the ground and above drainage. This, along side our trackway and aluminium ramp system, meant there was no damage to the grounds or any of the surfaces. We left site having completed a comprehensive inspection safely.
