Lifterz Training (PASMA & IPAF)

When you enroll on a course a Lifterz Training course, you can be sure that you and your staff will be trained to a high level of competence. Professional, highly qualified PASMA, IPAF, Ladder Association (BLMA) and UKATA (Asbestos Awareness) instructors supervise all training courses and guarantee a successful and unique learning experience. 

We offer a nationally recognised accredited training qualifications such as PASMA Scaffold Tower and Ladder Association (BLMA) Steps & Ladder or alternatively can discuss your individual needs in more detail and develop a ‘bespoke’ course tailored to your exact requirements. *The accredited IPAF Scissor & Boom training course is arranged through a registered IPAF training centre.

Why PASMA?

Lifterz is an authorised member of PASMA and will offer help and advice in choosing the correct training course. We use the latest training methods and keep up to date with changes in legislation. For example, the new 3T method of assembly is fully explained in all Scaffold Tower training courses.

Why IPAF?

Training in the use of work equipment is required by most health and safety legislation and work at height regulations. Employers are obliged to train employees. The IPAF training programme for platform operators was developed by leading industry professionals. It is certified by TÜV as conforming to the international standard ISO 18878:2004 Mobile elevating work platforms – Operator (driver) training. More than 70,000 operators are trained each year  each successful trainees receive a PAL Card (Powered Access Licence), a safety guide, a log book and a certificate.
IPAF itself does not provide training. Training is provided by approved training centres, mostly manufacturer and rental members of IPAF. Lifterz Ltd is an approved training centre, we are regularly audited by IPAF. Our class sizes are kept small to ensure quality. Courses generally last one to two days and are a mixture of theory and practice, with a written and a practical test. Course material is available in many languages.
